The Long Anticipated FILM REVIEW

The long anticipated film review was created on InDesign, it's overdue due to the indecisiveness of what still image to use. We wanted something that gives a hint of what's in the film without giving too much away. The result is an enigma code. We have a character looking distressed and bewildered. The audience immediately see this picture and should want to know why the character is distressed. They will read the review and then decide based on image more than text if they want to see the film. The handsome lad should be enough to make someone want to see this film, surely?!

The Film Poster

Very proud of our experimental film poster that I put a lot of effort into. I had a dream... a draft to be exact, a draft that I thought wouldn't be translated into the final product. I was wrong! We managed to get a final product that didn't drift too far away from what we originally wanted. I feel accomplishment. #WINNING

Fail!!!

This is a draft of the movie poster. However, we recieved constructive criticism from a visting media teacher from Norway!!! His unbiased view was helpful as he hasn't seen our film unlike our peers. He sugested that the main characters facial expression should be more exagerated as he failed to see a difference between happiness and tragedy. He also suggested we used a white background. As you can see from the above picture, we found it hard to combine both pictures so we decided, taking Norways' suggestion into consideration, to reshoot the pictures. With hindsight we know to keep the camera in one position so when it comes to combining the pictures, it fits together like a puzzle instead of a mismatch like the one above.

Media Poster Plan Prezi

Presentation Day

Today we presented our initial poster ideas to the class. We had the best presentation in class and our peers really took to the idea. The only constructive feedback was a suggestion from Kulsoom said that we should emphasize the word 'Karma' - that being the word of most interest- and making the 'My Name Is..' smaller - that being the words of least interest.
